You will be part of the department Hydrodynamics and Offshore Technologies. Together with your team you will work on innovative modelling projects related to flow design conditions, coastal development layout optimisation, flushing of coastal developments, recirculation and dispersion of discharged process (e.g., cooling water). 2D/3D hydrodynamic modelling as basis for water quality and ecological modelling is crucial. Furthermore, Deltares has a focus on the energy transition and therefore you will work on impacts of renewable energy like floating solar and aqua thermal energy. These challenging projects demand state-of-the-art numerical modelling and innovative solutions. By using and developing the latest technologies in this field you will provide the clients with an expert advice.

Working Environment
The Hydrodynamics and Offshore Technology department is formed by approx. 30 enthusiastic professionals working on marine infrastructure projects. In R&D and specialist consultancy projects we combine concrete practical relevance with high standards for quality. We achieve this by continuous development of state-of-the-art knowledge and techniques, combined with a high level of client interaction.
